The Xbox Elite Controller Receives a Reduced-Price Model and Arrives at the Design Lab

Xbox has announced that the white Xbox Elite Controller will be available for less money. The Elite Controller 2 Core is the same great controller, but it now costs $129.99 and doesn’t come with a case, dock, or extra accessories. The only difference is that the controller is now white instead of black. This basic package comes with the controller, a charging cable, a tool for adjusting the thumbsticks, and all the buttons you need to use the controller. If you decide later that you want the rest of the Elite Controller 2 accessories, you can buy the Component Pack for $59.99.
In addition to the Series 2 Core, Xbox Design Lab will also get the Xbox Elite Series 2. There isn’t a set date, but you should look for this in the lab around the holidays.

The base Xbox controller and the Elite Series 2 still need some improvements and extra features, but a cheaper version of the more expensive controller is a good start.
